Walk a mile in your users’ shoes to achieve the extraordinary



Can you describe the purpose of your website in 30 seconds or less? Can your web team? If not, you may need to refocus your efforts, or risk being left behind.

A great website connects with the user and creates an extraordinary web experience, and this usually only happens when an organization has developed an in-depth understanding of what its visitor’s goals and motivations will be.

It doesn’t matter if your site is selling a product or providing a service — what really matters is how well you connect with your target users. The level of active participation by your target audience will also determine the success or failure of your site, and so you must provide a certain type of content and structure that will lead your guests to action. In other words, you must strive to elicit a response from your visitors, and it is therefore very important for web users to feel they are making a connection with a website, rather than simply viewing a static display.
